About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan sequences of operations, estimate required time, and write process sheets and bills of materials
  • Determine manufacturing methods and processes for the fabrication and assembly of complex products using engineering data
  • Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and material, including facility layout decisions
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and provide technical support to operations
  • Consult with design or projects engineering regarding the suitability of complex molds, fixtures, or parts
  • Provide strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs within your area of expertise
  • Contribute to the industry by advancing technical knowledge and providing cross-functional guidance

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of experience with an Advanced Degree
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for access to specific program information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software
  • Experience with SAP or Solumina
  • Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of design concepts or repair methodologies involving composites, metals, and aerospace hardware
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, ACE, 6s)
  • Experience with analytical tools such as FTIR or Ultrasonic Inspection
