Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support production by providing technical expertise to solve quality, delivery, and productivity issues
• Design work holding and tooling solutions for new or existing manufacturing components
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean projects, including SMED, standard work kaizens, and value stream mapping
• Drive root cause analysis for complex issues using tools such as A3, 8D, Fishbone, and 5Why
• Design, plan, and coordinate facility layout improvements
• Facilitate CAPEX projects and coordinate with vendors
• Develop capacity planning models and conduct time studies to establish production standards
• Maintain critical process documentation, Bills of Material, and Labor Routings
• Partner with EH&S teams to identify and resolve safety concerns

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Inventor
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, and facility layout
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office Suite
• Experience with costing, capital justification, and new product/process development

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a machining environment is highly desired
