About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing methods, process flows, and operation sequences for components and final assemblies.
  • Partner with Design Engineering to ensure new products are manufacturable, scalable, and customer-centric.
  • Lead manufacturing engineering projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and program deliverables.
  • Support and integrate automation solutions including PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.
  • Resolve complex manufacturing and quality issues using root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Specify and justify the procurement of new equipment to enable production capacity.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and control plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated or technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with accountability for timelines and budgets.
  • Proven ability to resolve manufacturing and quality challenges using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation technologies such as PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Pro-E/Creo, or similar).
  • Background in Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in the Utilities & Energy sector or other safety-critical industries.
