About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical factory representative for all washer assembly related equipment and design reviews
- Develop standardized work, maintenance procedures, TPM checksheets, and training documents
- Establish initial operational budgets for equipment, processes, and specific production areas
- Prepare manufacturing and process areas for factory operational readiness
- Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 8D, A3, and 5-Why to support KPI-related projects
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to develop preventative maintenance procedures for new equipment
- Support materials layout and AMR strategy in coordination with the Materials Team
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related scientific field)
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience working with automated manufacturing equipment and production systems
- Proven ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization to drive continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead team-driven projects
- Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including occasional off-shift or weekend work
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with advanced automated systems
- Experience with metal fabrication, component fastening, or automated equipment operations
- Six Sigma certification with strong knowledge of Lean and DMAIC methodologies
- Experience driving results through analytical methods and project scheduling
