Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical factory representative for all washer assembly related equipment and design reviews
• Develop standardized work, maintenance procedures, TPM checksheets, and training documents
• Establish initial operational budgets for equipment, processes, and specific production areas
• Prepare manufacturing and process areas for factory operational readiness
• Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 8D, A3, and 5-Why to support KPI-related projects
• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to develop preventative maintenance procedures for new equipment
• Support materials layout and AMR strategy in coordination with the Materials Team

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related scientific field)
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience working with automated manufacturing equipment and production systems
• Proven ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization to drive continuous improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead team-driven projects
• Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including occasional off-shift or weekend work

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with advanced automated systems
• Experience with metal fabrication, component fastening, or automated equipment operations
• Six Sigma certification with strong knowledge of Lean and DMAIC methodologies
• Experience driving results through analytical methods and project scheduling
