Responsibilities

• Drive new manufacturing line bringups for evolving products and new test vehicles
• Lead technical assessment of manufacturing build processes for continuous improvement
• Triage existing line capabilities against new product revisions and R&D experiments
• Develop novel designs for mechanical and electromechanical manufacturing workstations
• Mentor manufacturing team members and establish technical standards
• Establish best practices for equipment design, vendor management, and commissioning
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks through design reviews and DFMEA/PFMEA
• Support critical hardware dispositions on the build floor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Hands-on experience with sensitive hardware, tools, and adhesives
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD tools and PDM/ERP systems
• Experience in medium to high volume manufacturing of electromechanical products
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with battery or energy systems
• Experience in equipment automation
• Experience with value engineering and time-study cost savings efforts
