About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead documentation interpretation for mechanical and electrical engineering designs, including fabrication drawings and BOMs
  • Drive production data migration from design engineering to manufacturing systems
  • Act as primary point of contact for planning deliverables across purchasing, production, and project management
  • Create and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to improve First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE)
  • Oversee supplier collaboration for quotes and technical support
  • Manage and optimize ERP data and manufacturing workflows
  • Lead identification of specialized gauging and production equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with leadership responsibilities
  • Proven experience in manufacturing process design and DFMA initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical machinery, power electronics, or industrial controls
  • Proficiency in reading fabrication drawings and electrical schematics
  • Experience with ERP software, SolidWorks, and Google Suite/Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-site environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) certifications
  • Expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Experience with formal quality management systems
