Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify, order, and commission key process equipment to meet business objectives within the Operations Engineering Cycle
• Act as the engineering process owner for the assigned area
• Develop and modify manufacturing documentation, including assembly procedures and BOMs, for both commercial and new products
• Improve product and process quality, output, and yields by eliminating defects
• Perform product, process, and vendor qualification activities
• Support material discrepancy review and disposition activities (MRB)
• Maintain valid capacity models and conduct advance planning for required capital
• Support quality and corrective/preventive action initiatives (NCEP, CAPA)
• Train cross-functional team members, including engineers, technicians, and product builders

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical preferred)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
• Proven ability to independently perform a broad range of manufacturing engineering responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and execution skills
• Demonstrated ability to prepare technical specifications, protocols, and reports
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
