Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to production floor operations to ensure products, processes, and equipment meet safety, quality, and cost objectives
• Lead cross-functional project teams for new product integration and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to technicians and junior engineering staff
• Apply continuous improvement tools to identify and implement enhancements to manufacturing processes
• Assess the feasibility of new technologies and manage Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERAs)
• Design and coordinate engineering tests, collecting and analyzing data to report findings to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or related environment
• Proven experience managing and leading multiple projects simultaneously
• Practical understanding of manufacturing problem-solving and process improvement tools such as DMAIC
• Proficiency with production flow tools such as LEAN manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
• Experience within the medical device industry
• Experience with New Product Integration (NPI)
• Knowledge of polymers, sub-assemblies, or thermal processes
• Experience with the validation and qualification of equipment and processes
