About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for daily production initiatives, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration
  • Optimize existing processes and ensure production goals are met within the AVD Vascular division
  • Conduct Process FMEAs and Process Validations to ensure product quality and compliance
  • Improve product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput using Lean manufacturing concepts
  • Coordinate the design, procurement, build, and debug of tooling, machinery, and test equipment
  • Interface with Quality and R&D organizations to integrate new products or processes into manufacturing
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related technical engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry is required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma certification
  • International manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed or geographically diverse business environment
