Senior Manufacturing Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in existing products, including component obsolescence and manufacturing challenges
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Generate engineering documentation such as schematics, test plans, risk assessments, and verification reports
• Ensure designs comply with medical device standards including IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971
• Develop and execute test protocols for electrical subsystems and full devices
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 3–5+ years of electrical design experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
• Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or PADS
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
• Strong understanding of regulated product development and design controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience with embedded systems, microcontroller-based designs, and EMC/EMI mitigation
• Experience with firmware integration in a medical device environment
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and related standards
• PMP certification
