Senior Managing Director - AI Strategy & Enterprise Applications

Responsibilities

• Own and drive TIAA’s enterprise-wide AI strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Partner with senior business leaders and P&L owners to identify high-leverage AI opportunities and co-develop actionable roadmaps.
• Drive product strategy and execution across a portfolio of AI products, including intelligent automation, machine learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.
• Establish operating rhythms, governance mechanisms, and delivery standards to enable rapid and responsible AI scaling.
• Evangelize the use of emerging AI technologies across the organization to augment products and services.
• Lead thought leadership and research initiatives in the AI space to maintain a competitive edge.
• Partner with architecture, data, and risk teams to build the foundational capabilities required for reliable Agentic AI deployment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in AI Strategy, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
• Proven expertise in Stakeholder Engagement and Executive Communication.
• Strong understanding of AI Governance and Responsible AI practices.
• Proficiency in Agile Methodology, Product Management, and Portfolio Management.
• Demonstrated experience in Business Strategy and Team Leadership.

• Experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Expertise in Change Management and Risk Management.
• University degree in a relevant field.
