Senior Manager/Associate Director - Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead and own U.S. Accounts Receivable for the company
• Manage end-to-end accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping for the Indian entity
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and audit support
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with Indian laws including RBI, STPI, MCA, and tax filings (GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI)
• Supervise and mentor the India finance team and AR collections analysts
• Design and implement internal policies for finance, expenses, and budgeting
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, banks, and government agencies

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7-10 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting standards
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to work some U.S. Pacific Time Zone hours
• Proven experience with process improvements and automation
• Excellent people management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a Big 4 firm
• Experience handling Global Financial Operations, specifically Accounts Receivable
• NetSuite experience
