About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the worldwide Wafer Foundry Management (WFM) Technical and Quality team
- Work closely with Business Units regarding foundry technology requirements
- Oversee foundry technology/fab location steering, NPIs, cross-qualifications, and manufacturing infrastructure
- Manage wafer process flows, process/material change management, and foundry audits
- Lead FA/customer-return-investigations and RMA systems
- Serve as the technology liaison between Business Units and foundry partners to coordinate shuttles and tape-out schedules
- Create and maintain documentation for new and existing developments
- Manage continuous improvement projects and oversee engineering changes
- Prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with strategic foundry partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication
- Familiarity with advanced semiconductor wafer processes, statistical analysis, and wafer yield analysis
- Knowledge of quality standards including IATF-16949, ISO9001, and AS9100
- Understanding of quality systems such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD degree in an engineering field
