About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the worldwide Wafer Foundry Management (WFM) Technical and Quality team
  • Work closely with Business Units regarding foundry technology requirements
  • Oversee foundry technology/fab location steering, NPIs, cross-qualifications, and manufacturing infrastructure
  • Manage wafer process flows, process/material change management, and foundry audits
  • Lead FA/customer-return-investigations and RMA systems
  • Serve as the technology liaison between Business Units and foundry partners to coordinate shuttles and tape-out schedules
  • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing developments
  • Manage continuous improvement projects and oversee engineering changes
  • Prepare for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with strategic foundry partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication
  • Familiarity with advanced semiconductor wafer processes, statistical analysis, and wafer yield analysis
  • Knowledge of quality standards including IATF-16949, ISO9001, and AS9100
  • Understanding of quality systems such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree in an engineering field
