Senior Manager Vendor & Outsourcing Steering

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary risk owner for assigned third-party vendor relationships within the 1st Line of Defense
• Ensure ICT third-party relationships comply with DORA requirements and maintain the bank's Information Register
• Oversee the entire vendor lifecycle including due diligence, onboarding, monitoring, and exit strategies
• Establish, negotiate, and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Partner with Legal and Procurement to negotiate vendor contracts with robust regulatory clauses
• Collaborate with 2nd Line of Defense to remediate audit findings and ensure business continuity plans
• Advise senior management on vendor risk exposure and strategic sourcing decisions

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, Law, or related discipline
• 7–10 years of experience in Vendor Management, TPRM, Procurement, or IT Service Management in banking
• Proven experience working within a 1st Line of Defense function
• Deep understanding of DORA, EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing, and MaRisk (AT 9)
• Extensive experience negotiating complex IT and BPO contracts, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
• Business fluency in German and English is mandatory
• Ability to analyze complex vendor risk assessments, SOC reports, and financial metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, or ITIL
• Specialized TPRM certifications
