Senior Manager, US Employee Relations

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-risk workplace issues and conduct formal investigations into allegations of serious misconduct, such as harassment or discrimination.
• Provide strategic guidance and coaching to executives, people managers, and HR Business Partners on high-risk employee relations matters.
• Lead employee interviews, analyze facts, and prepare comprehensive investigative reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Partner with HR Business Partners on strategic initiatives including reorganizations, restructurings, and changes to employment terms.
• Identify workplace trends and provide actionable insights to inform HR strategy and risk mitigation.
• Ensure all case documentation meets regulatory, legal, and internal compliance standards.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Employment Law.
• Advanced knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and ER best practices.
• Expertise in interviewing, negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution techniques.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver empathetic and clear communication to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience building trust-based relationships with employees and senior stakeholders.
