Senior Manager, Total Wealth Planning Support

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the Central Planning Group, a national team providing financial planning software support and expertise to advisors across Scotia Wealth Management and the Retail Bank.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve the financial planning help desk service model, including intake, prioritization, and SLAs.
• Coach team members to ensure high service levels for both basic and complex financial planning inquiries.
• Act as a strategic partner to Regional Directors and Product teams to align planning solutions with business priorities.
• Drive strategic initiatives including operating model evolution, capacity optimization, and planning enablement programs.
• Promote awareness of Total Wealth Planning through internal communications, content development, and stakeholder partnerships.

Requirements

• University degree.
• Accredited financial planning designation (CFP or Pl.Fin).
• Over 5 years of experience as a practicing financial planner in the High Net Worth space.
• Proven experience managing a large national team.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale strategic initiatives or enterprise projects within Wealth Management or Financial Services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Life Insurance license.
• Working knowledge of financial planning software, specifically Conquest Planning.
• Comprehensive technical understanding of investments, asset protection, retirement, estate planning, and taxation.
• Experience with data gathering and reporting for management analysis.
