About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP/Head to shape and monitor strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with CBE and Enterprise objectives
- Support the development of business plans, technology roadmaps, and performance metrics
- Conduct competitive research and benchmarking to identify emerging trends and their impact on the Bank's strategic plan
- Oversee the VP/Head operating cadence, including leadership meetings, steering committees, and monthly business reviews
- Track the execution of strategic initiatives to ensure deliverables are met and issues are escalated promptly
- Drive the preparation of executive briefings, board materials, and regulatory submissions
- Coordinate responses to enterprise requests to ensure consistent messaging and priority alignment
- Support oversight of regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation for the portfolio
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or a related field, with exposure to both strategy and operations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience supporting senior executives in a business management or senior program leadership capacity
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and execution skills
- Strong executive communication abilities, including written briefs and presentation decks
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and distill actionable insights
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate Business Degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Understanding of Canadian Banking regulations, compliance obligations, and governance frameworks
