Senior Manager Technical Records

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the integrity of airworthiness records for the Etihad Airways fleet to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Oversee aircraft and engine configuration control processes within the Maintenance Information System (MIS).
• Lead the end-to-end coordination of maintenance records for aircraft lease transactions, including acquisitions, transfers, and redeliveries.
• Establish and enhance maintenance record processes in accordance with GCAA CAR M.305, CAR M.714, and IATA standards.
• Direct the evaluation and integration of maintenance records for newly acquired aircraft and engines.
• Drive continuous improvement through digitalization and technology solutions to enhance data accuracy and performance.
• Manage and develop departmental teams, providing coaching, training, and resource allocation to meet functional priorities.
• Ensure adherence to Safety and Quality Management Manuals (SQMM) and contribute to organizational safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or a Maintenance Engineer License.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in an airline Continuing Airworthiness organization, specifically focusing on Technical Records.
• Expert knowledge of GCAA and EASA regulations (CAR M, Part M, CAMO, Part 145, and IOSA).
• Proven experience in aircraft and engine lease management, including induction and redelivery processes.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or managers within high-pressure organizations.
• Strong understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP), Life Limited Parts (LLPs), and component control.
• Ability to make informed decisions balancing safety, regulatory compliance, and commercial risk.
