About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the full project life cycle, managing one to two major projects or several medium projects simultaneously from initiation to deployment.
  • Establish and drive Project and Portfolio KPIs through the adoption of Danaher Business Systems tools and Global Ops PMO methodologies.
  • Ensure all projects and programs proceed according to defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to project teams, sponsors, and executive-level partners.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of standard methodologies for project execution and portfolio management.
  • Support and develop junior Project Managers globally to ensure project benefits are realized and talent potential is maximized.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience in Project Management, OR Master’s degree with 12+ years, OR Doctoral degree with 9+ years.
  • Significant experience in a medical device or diagnostics regulated environment (manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, or engineering).
  • Proven experience in Project Portfolio Management and leading large, sophisticated R&D or operations projects.
  • Formal project management training or professional qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience leading design changes and technology transfer programs within a regulated environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders in a global matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean / Six Sigma experience and certification as a Kaizen leader.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Smartsheet, Miro, Excel, and specialized PM software.
