Senior Manager - Technical & Project

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex engineering studies including load flow, short circuit, transient stability, relay coordination, arc flash, and harmonic analysis.
• Perform electromagnetic switching transient studies and electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC) studies for complex environments like oil & gas plants and railways.
• Provide engineering recommendations for the design, operation, and optimization of electrical systems using ETAP, PSCAD, or CDEGS.
• Review electrical systems, including power distribution networks and renewable energy installations, to ensure compliance with IEC and IEEE standards.
• Manage project scope and ensure the timely completion of deliverables within allocated man-hours.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues such as system tripping, site incidents, and equipment failures.
• Prepare and deliver professional technical reports, presentations, and workshops for global clients.

Requirements

• Electrical engineering degree.
• Extensive expertise in power system studies and electrical power system consulting.
• Proficiency in ETAP software.
• Knowledge of PSCAD or CDEGS software.
• Strong understanding of IEC and IEEE international standards.
• Proven experience in project management and managing project scopes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for technical reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with renewable energy systems including solar, wind, and battery energy storage.
• Experience addressing interference issues in heavy industrial environments.
