About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and scale a high-impact TPM organization while personally owning critical cross-functional programs.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to shape multi-year roadmaps and influence architectural decisions.
- Manage ambiguity, cross-organizational dependencies, and alignment within a resource-constrained environment.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform decisions and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
- Drive the operating rhythm of the business, ensuring engineering systems scale effectively and remain cost-conscious.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop TPMs and engineers to multiply organizational impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience).
- Previous Snap experience is required.
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering or Technical Program Management leading cross-functional efforts.
- 5+ years of experience managing a team in a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, ambiguous programs across distributed teams.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Grafana, Looker, Tableau), source control (GitHub), and ticket management (JIRA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in software and/or hardware engineering.
- Experience contributing to technical design, architectural trade-offs, and roadmap planning.
- Experience managing production systems, reliability initiatives, or cost optimization programs.
- Exposure to high-scale consumer technology or social platforms.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences.
- Master's or PhD in a highly analytical field.
