Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical programs for the Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) division to evolve foundational cloud infrastructure.
• Drive initiatives focused on observability, connectivity, resilience, and availability.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life-cycle.
• Simplify complex technical concepts to drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science teams.
• Collaborate across different functions and organizations to ensure execution, accountability, and results.
• Manage large-scale programs by owning the technical vision and unblocking cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networking, Infrastructure, or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs.
• Experience with cloud-based resilience initiatives.
• Experience with complex networking or infrastructure systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical design and implementation of complex networking environments and infrastructure systems.
• 3+ years of experience designing and documenting complex recovery testing initiatives in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using AWS.
• Experience with enterprise-level resilience planning, including Business Continuity and Incident Response.
• Experience building systems and solutions within highly regulated environments.
