Senior Manager, Tech Support

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Technical Support strategy for technology transfer, product commercialization, and lifecycle management.
• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and specialists to support equipment, processes, and control systems.
• Oversee the sustained performance and continuous improvement of cell and gene therapy manufacturing processes.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for manufacturing issues, driving structured, closed-loop problem solving to improve uptime and yield.
• Partner cross-functionally with Process Development, Quality Control, and Operations to ensure efficient process transfer and sustained performance.
• Own the development of internal master batch records, SOPs, and work instructions required for technology transfer.
• Support deviation management, CAPA, and change control activities, serving as a process SME for Quality and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in cell and gene therapy manufacturing, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, or a related pharmaceutical environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
• Strong technical problem-solving and technical writing skills.
• Demonstrated experience in process development, technology transfer, and lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with process optimization and operational excellence initiatives.
