Senior Manager - Systems Validation

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems validation team and drive team growth through strategic hiring and internal development
• Collaborate with offshore teams to expedite first silicon bring-up and support fast product rollouts
• Define validation methodologies and infrastructure for next-generation FPGA and SoC product lines
• Manage validation execution, track schedules, and report progress to core stakeholders
• Validate a wide range of IP including high-speed serial protocols, memory interfaces, processors, and peripherals
• Correlate pre-silicon results with silicon measurements to ensure accuracy
• Drive continuous innovation to improve validation coverage and accelerate time to market

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE degree
• 18+ years of relevant industry experience
• 10+ years of experience managing small to medium-sized teams
• 10+ years of experience in product validation with an emphasis on digital and mixed-signal circuits
• 5+ years of experience validating serial protocols (PCIe, SATA, etc.) or memory interfaces (DDR4/5, LPDDR4/5)
• Expertise in validating SoC, processors, and PLLs
• Proficiency in firmware development on multi-core microcontrollers (ARM/RISC-V)
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as BERTs, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Proficiency with Verilog or VHDL
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, board design, and signal integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of JTAG protocols
• Working knowledge of SoC and/or FPGA architectures
• Experience with FPGA design tools such as Libero, Vivado, or Quartus
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, or Perl
• Background in analog and mixed-signal circuit design
