Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management (Strategic Sourcing)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories to reduce costs, improve service, and mitigate risk
• Lead the Country-of-Origin (COO) and rare-earth-element (REE) initiatives by partnering with functional leaders to implement scalable risk mitigation processes
• Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier landscapes to identify strategic sourcing opportunities
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Partner with internal stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Legal to align sourcing with business priorities
• Identify and mitigate supply, geopolitical, quality, and financial risks within the supply base
• Drive cost-reduction, value-engineering, and design-for-supply-chain initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree with 10+ years of experience, OR 16+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement, or supplier management
• Experience conducting spend analysis, market research, or supplier assessments
• Experience working effectively within a matrixed or decentralized operating environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a federal contracting or compliance-driven environment (e.g., FAR/DFARS familiarity)
• Experience with COO, REE, or other material-criticality risk assessments
• Familiarity with category management and supplier-development approaches
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Control
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations teams
