Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations

Responsibilities

• Partner with the GM to develop, stress-test, and iterate the Glance AI strategy, including product positioning and monetization architecture
• Lead analytical work for strategy reviews, board-prep materials, and annual operating plans
• Drive a portfolio of 3–5 cross-functional initiatives such as market entry launches and platform partnerships
• Architect the Japan partner landscape across device distribution, commerce destinations, and AI agent surfaces
• Represent the GM in CXO-level conversations with carriers, OEM leadership, and regulators
• Maintain an active information flow between Japan and central strategy teams in Bangalore

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking M&A, or operating roles in high-growth tech/media companies
• Based in Tokyo or willing to relocate with legal right to work in Japan
• Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) and fluent English
• Strong written communication skills for producing board-ready memos and decks
• Willingness to travel domestically in Japan, across APAC, and to Bangalore

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating in matrixed environments and influencing without authority
• Exposure to AI/ML platforms, consumer mobile ecosystems, or e-commerce
• MBA from a leading institution
• Established network within Japanese telco, OEM, or retail CXO communities
• Experience as a senior representative for a foreign-headquartered company in Japan
