Senior Manager, Strategy and Execution - Deal Management

Responsibilities

• Lead integration planning and execution through Integration Management Offices (IMO)
• Manage carve-out or divestiture planning and execution via Separation Management Offices (SMO)
• Conduct operational due diligence, stand-alone costing, and operating model design
• Identify, validate, and realize synergies for M&A transactions
• Develop Transitional Services Agreements (TSAs) and M&A integration playbooks
• Lead and mentor diverse project teams to ensure successful strategic outcomes
• Drive business development through client outreach, thought leadership, and proposal development
• Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with senior client stakeholders

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in professional services or management consulting
• Proven track record in M&A, specifically within diligence, integration, or divestiture
• Advanced graduate degree (MBA or similar) or professional certification (CPA, CFA, PMP, etc.)
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including oversight of scope, resources, and financials
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to executive-level stakeholders and boards
• Ability to travel within Canada and the US (must be authorized to work in Canada)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on transactions involving private equity or strategic acquirers/sellers
• Background in audit, assurance, or related financial fields
• Demonstrated experience in financial statement analysis and risk assessment
