Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Responsibilities

• Translate Airwallex’s key objectives into a comprehensive partnerships and outbound strategy, identifying target partners and synergistic use-cases.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external executives and decision-makers, as well as internal cross-functional teams.
• Lead product integration scoping and negotiate partnership agreements and value exchanges to ensure mutual benefit and risk mitigation.
• Manage the full partner lifecycle, including deal structuring, implementation, and post-deal relationship management across various verticals.
• Quarterback impactful strategic commercial and product integrations to accelerate business growth and user adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, product, or related roles.
• Proven track record of thinking strategically and managing complex dynamics and motivations.
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to craft product integrations and understand commercial and product nuances.
• Quantitative capacity to measure partnership ROI and understand performance metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural, global environment across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the fintech or payments industry.
• Proven experience in professional partnerships and deal-making.
