Senior Manager, Stock Administration and Payroll

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing and operations, including bonuses, commissions, and complex employee events
• Oversee the company's stock administration function, including stock options, RSUs, and ESPPs
• Partner with Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure compliance with SOX, SEC regulations, and tax laws
• Perform stock-based compensation accounting and analyses under ASC 718
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and governance materials for payroll and equity
• Manage relationships with payroll providers, stock administration vendors, and transfer agents
• Support compensation and equity strategy execution, including refresh grants

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or post-graduate degree with 10+ years of experience
• Extensive experience in stock administration and payroll within a high-growth public company
• Deep knowledge of equity vehicles, stock-based compensation accounting, and tax implications
• Strong understanding of SEC and SOX compliance
• Proven ability to build scalable operational processes in ambiguous environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biotech, life sciences, or highly regulated industries
• Experience with E*TRADE (Equity Edge Online) and SAP SuccessFactors
