Senior Manager - SOX Compliance and Advisory

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT Compliance managers and members within the IT General and Automated Controls workstreams
• Manage SOX project plans, including quarterly user access reviews and quality assurance activities
• Oversee the remediation of controlled deficiencies and implement monitoring metrics for the compliance program
• Proactively identify potential issues, roadblocks, or control failures and provide strategic solutions
• Partner with business area experts to understand system requirements and drive implementation of solutions
• Provide coaching, guidance, and career development for direct reports

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of job-related experience, with 8-10 years in a management capacity
• Proven experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or a related field
• Experience supporting internal or external audit functions (Big Four experience preferred)
• Strong leadership experience with a track record of developing and coaching team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Knowledge of Cloud Governance, AI Governance, or RPA Governance
• Proficiency in Data Analysis, Power BI, or Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools
