Senior Manager, Sourcing & Procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies to deliver cost savings, value creation, and supply continuity.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including market engagement, supplier evaluation, tendering, and contract negotiation.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships through performance management and contract lifecycle oversight.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and lead complex negotiations and dispute resolutions.
• Drive procurement performance reporting using data-driven insights regarding savings, KPIs, and compliance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, Legal, and Executive leadership teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members while promoting best practices.
• Champion process optimization, digital procurement tools, and sustainability/ESG initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Progressive procurement and sourcing experience, including significant experience in senior management roles.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic sourcing initiatives and managing high-value contracts.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing procurement teams.
• Strong understanding of procurement practices, commercial governance, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across multiple categories such as indirect spend, professional services, IT, construction, or manufacturing.
• Experience working within public sector, regulated, or governance-driven environments.
• Proficiency with ERP or e-procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Jaggaer).
• CIPS Level 5 or 6 certification.
• Membership of CIPS or another relevant professional body.
• Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, and supply chain risk management principles.
