Senior Manager, Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Solutions Architects across different regions and time zones
• Deliver customer-facing projects including initial onboarding, complex upgrades, or architectural changes
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact in a player-coach model for strategic accounts
• Lead technical issue resolution end-to-end, partnering with Support and Engineering on escalations
• Guide customers on modern workloads including AI, LLM gateways, and agentic use cases
• Consult with customers on architectural best practices, performance tuning, and operational excellence
• Partner with account teams (CSM, AE, SE) to manage technical risk and expansion opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading technical ICs or customer-facing teams
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Architect, SRE, or Senior Support Engineer)
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Cilium), and API gateways/proxies (Envoy, Gloo)
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies (LLMs, agentic frameworks, or AI infrastructure)
• Proven track record managing technical relationships with large enterprise customers
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Go, Python, or Bash)
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience
