About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams focused on designing and supporting Supply Chain and Planning Technology (SCPT) platforms.
- Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions for large-scale, distributed, and cloud-based systems.
- Integrate Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with upstream and downstream systems such as ERP, WMS, and OMS.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Principal Engineers to align technical strategies with business objectives.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including automated testing, agile methodologies, and AI-first approaches using tools like Copilot and Cursor.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture while supporting career development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 12 to 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5+ years of management experience leading high-performing software engineering teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading full-stack DevOps teams across development, testing, and operations.
- Deep expertise in designing highly scalable, available, and distributed services and data-centric solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern web technologies (Java, Rust, or Python).
- Strong knowledge of supply chain domain areas such as inventory, order, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Blue Yonder ITMS (JDA).
- Proven ability to deliver data products in Gen AI applications (POC or production).
- Experience implementing and supporting Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions.
