Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Data

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering team focused on building scalable, resilient, and performant distributed systems for data processing, reporting, and analytics.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and product management teams to influence technical direction and system architecture.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to inform requirements and drive delivery of impactful initiatives.
• Take complete ownership of technical decisions and manage priorities to meet advertising business needs.
• Build deep domain knowledge in advertising to better understand and optimize data systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience, with significant work in modern big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Scala, Java, Python, and relational databases).
• 6+ years of experience in technical leadership, specifically leading engineering teams and managing large-scale data processing systems.
• Proven experience in building, growing, and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Subject matter expertise in advertising technology and data processing.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, big data technologies, analytics, and data science.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
