Senior Manager, Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams focused on designing, building, and supporting supply chain and planning technology (SCPT) data platforms.
• Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions for data integration across large-scale, distributed, SaaS, and cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Principal Engineers to deliver business value and align on enterprise-wide technical strategies.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including automated testing, Agile methodologies, and an AI-first approach using tools like Copilot and Cursor.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture while supporting career development and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards regarding software engineering, security, and data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 12 to 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5+ years of management experience leading high-performing software engineering teams.
• Proven experience leading data engineering, analytics, and insights teams across the full SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with distributed/cloud-based environments such as AWS and Databricks.
• Proficiency with modern web technologies including Java, REST, and Python.
• Experience with supply chain domain areas, specifically demand planning and forecasting techniques.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, and product model delivery.
• Ability to drive the adoption of Gen AI, AI/ML, and Agentic tools to solve business problems.
