Senior Manager, Software Engineer - Merchandise Financial Planning, ITC

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams focused on designing, building, and supporting Supply Chain and Planning Technology (SCPT) platforms.
• Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions for large-scale, distributed, SaaS, and cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Principal Engineers, and cross-functional partners to align on enterprise-wide technical strategies.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including an AI-first approach using tools like Copilot and Cursor to increase productivity.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture while supporting career development and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards regarding software engineering, security, and data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 12 to 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5+ years of management experience leading high-performing software engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in designing and implementing highly scalable, available, and distributed data-centric solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments (AWS and Databricks) and modern web technologies (Java, REST, and Python).
• Proficiency with both NoSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with supply chain domain areas, specifically Merchandise Financial Planning and Demand Planning.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, and product model delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Planning SaaS products such as O9, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or SAP IBP.
• Proven ability to leverage Gen AI, AI/ML, and Agentic tools to solve complex business problems.
• Demonstrated experience leading full-stack DevOps teams covering development, testing, and operations.
