Senior Manager, Shiga New Building

Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of the Shiga plant's mid-to-long-term master plan, including line operations and technology transfers.
• Manage projects related to new line startups, defining requirements for quality, productivity, cost, and safety.
• Enhance KPI management and PDCA cycles by standardizing visibility across the plant.
• Drive organizational capability development and foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee manufacturing teams to ensure the achievement of PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale) goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Data-driven analytical skills for performance management.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and promoting a safety culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience in professional project management.
• Business-level English proficiency.
