Senior Manager, Secured Commercial Real Estate Lending

Responsibilities

• Lead key workflows across the secured commercial real estate lending lifecycle, including originations, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring
• Manage day-to-day operations, planning, prioritization, and resourcing for the commercial real estate lending team
• Develop, implement, and refine credit strategy for secured commercial real estate lending
• Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, borrower trends, and concentration risk
• Lead process improvement initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and control effectiveness
• Lead and develop a team of credit professionals, portfolio managers, and underwriters
• Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of related experience in commercial real estate lending or banking, or Master’s degree and 10+ years of experience
• Significant experience leading commercial real estate credit, lending, or portfolio management functions
• Experience managing credit strategy execution, underwriting standards, and portfolio governance
• Proven experience leading teams and developing talent
• Familiarity with bank regulatory expectations, CECL, and internal audits
• Strong credit judgment and ability to solve complex commercial lending problems
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior leadership
