Senior Manager - SCM CoE

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supply chain associates to drive sourcing excellence for key commodities including Copper, Aluminum, Steel, Heat Exchangers, Casting, Forging, and Machining.
• Execute the Direct Materials Sourcing excellence workstream to deliver cost savings, productivity, and CoE KPIs.
• Define team priorities and translate high-level strategy into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers and business stakeholders to identify needs and streamline processes.
• Manage team performance metrics and establish service level agreements for all customer activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and lead change initiatives within the CoE categories.
• Partner with Engineering teams on new product development and VA/VE project execution.

Requirements

• B.E. from a premier institute (mandatory).
• 19+ years of supply chain management experience.
• Proven exposure to Center of Excellence (CoE) environments.
• Strong core sourcing expertise in metals and related commodities.
• Experience in VA/VE project execution and active collaboration with Engineering.
• Strong expertise in spend analytics, RFQs, contracting, should-costing, and negotiation.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA from a reputed institute.
• Proven experience in managing teams of 4-5 members with an empathetic leadership style.
• Strong program and change management skills.
