About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA finance transformation programs, specifically within asset-intensive industries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Drive solution design and delivery across SAP finance capabilities, ensuring alignment with EY methodologies.
- Manage complex delivery environments, including onshore and offshore teams and alliance partners.
- Contribute to the development of EY’s SAP offerings, assets, and accelerators to grow the practice.
- Support go-to-market initiatives, proposals, and client pursuits in collaboration with account teams.
- Coach and mentor EY professionals, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with EY risk management, independence, and quality assurance requirements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of SAP implementation experience, primarily within asset-intensive industries.
- Hands-on expertise across SAP finance modules and solutions (e.g., FI/CO, MBC, and familiarity with RAR).
- Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
- Current CPA certification.
- Deep understanding of Canadian and US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Financial certifications.
- Experience supporting large-scale finance transformation programs.
- Industry expertise in Mining, Oil and Gas, and/or Power and Utilities.
- An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification.
