About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end SAM remediation and issue-management delivery model, including discovery, data quality, and prohibited software management.
  • Lead remediation, operations, and lifecycle management teams to ensure measurable risk reduction and compliance.
  • Partner with IT, Security, and Business stakeholders to drive outcomes and maintain a strong enterprise audit posture.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for audits, operational risks, and stakeholder issues.
  • Report on operational performance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in processes, tooling, and organizational capabilities.
  • Coach and develop SAM team members to foster professional growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), or related technology operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational or compliance-focused teams in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record leading tech remediation activities, including discovery, data quality resolution, and audit response.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise SAM platforms, such as ServiceNow SAM Pro or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) practices, including incident, problem, and task management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, executive-level reporting.
