About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the master commercial forecast by customer, SKU, and week, partnering with Supply Chain on S&OP and promotional lifts
  • Build and maintain the master trade calendar across retail and foodservice accounts
  • Track trade spend against budget, build promotional ROI models, and run post-event analysis
  • Own customer pricing files, price lists, and cost-change workflows
  • Build weekly and monthly commercial dashboards covering shipments, forecast, sell-through, and distribution
  • Provide data for category reviews, including velocity and distribution readouts
  • Serve as the commercial gatekeeper for new item commercialization and launch timelines
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to synchronize account calendars and trade plans
  • Document core commercial processes and build repeatable SOPs

Requirements

  • 6+ years in sales strategy, sales planning, commercial strategy, trade marketing, or CPG analytics
  • Experience building and owning a commercial forecast, trade calendar, or pricing process end-to-end
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills
  • Experience with retail sales data or syndicated data (e.g., Circana, NielsenIQ)
  • Experience partnering with sales, finance, supply chain, and marketing on commercial planning
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BI tools or SQL
  • Exposure to CPG, retail, grocery, or food/beverage categories
  • MBA
