About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives to meet and exceed pipeline targets
- Drive outbound and inbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified pipeline for the field sales team
- Partner with Marketing to align on campaign execution, lead follow-up SLAs, and messaging
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to ensure seamless handoff and conversion of qualified opportunities
- Analyse team performance data including activity metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution
- Recruit, onboard, and develop SDR talent with a focus on career progression
- Represent the Sales Development function in regional planning and business reviews
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Sales Development or inside sales
- 1–2 years in a management or team lead capacity
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline/revenue targets
- Strong coaching and people development skills
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or Salesloft
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS or data/cloud technology sales preferred
- Experience working in APJ markets, particularly ANZ, is a strong advantage
