Senior Manager, Sales and Operations Planning

Responsibilities

• Develop 13-week rolling inbound plans from Distribution Centers (DC) or Fulfillment Centers (FC) for Express Mart and Amazon Now operations across Japan
• Create network forecasts to optimize inventory placement, fullness targets, and cost efficiency
• Lead S&OP processes to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities
• Drive Plan vs. Actual variance minimization through continuous monitoring and deep-dive analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Business, SCOT, AMZL, and Finance to align planning strategies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support regional network expansion and new site launches

Requirements

• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• 2+ years of supply chain experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
• Business-level Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, and oral communication)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
• 3+ years of experience driving process improvements
• Experience in stakeholder management across multiple levels of an organization
• Experience building processes, project management frameworks, and schedules
