Senior Manager, Risk Management - Policy Analyst

Responsibilities

• Shape and manage the organization’s data risk management policies by engaging stakeholders across the enterprise
• Ensure policies align with industry best practices and contain measurable, achievable requirements
• Apply knowledge of data risk and policy governance to manage policies and provide guidance on adherence
• Partner closely with first and second lines of defense, including Technology, Cyber, Enterprise Data, and Operational Risk Management
• Set direction and indirectly lead cross-functional teams to manage expectations and deliver high-impact results

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 7 years of experience in information security, data management, technology, or risk management
• At least 5 years of experience developing or managing policy
• Strong written communication skills, specifically for memos and slide decks

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a second-line or oversight role at a financial institution or regulatory agency
• 3+ years of process or project management experience leading cross-functional programs
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CIPP, CIPM, or CDMP
• Deep understanding of the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK) framework
