Senior Manager, Risk Analytics & Modelling

Responsibilities

• Model derivatives, hedge funds, liabilities, and other securities within the risk management system
• Review models regularly to ensure embedded risk is accurately measured and monitored
• Collaborate with traders, finance, and developers to integrate new instruments and models
• Establish state-of-the-art tools to provide insight into market risk and other financial risks
• Design and implement tools to measure and monitor portfolio risk
• Assist in model validation, including documentation, benchmarking, and performance assessment
• Communicate complex analysis and risk reports effectively to stakeholders
• Act as a subject matter expert for the risk management system to support other internal groups

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Finance, Math, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the financial industry
• Practical experience modelling derivatives and other financial instruments
• Proven experience working closely with traders and portfolio managers
• Proficiency in Python
• Strong quantitative and technical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using vendor systems for risk or trading
• Programming knowledge beyond Python
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, large language models (LLMs), and AI-powered automation tools
