Senior Manager, Retail Consultancy

Responsibilities

• Develop actionable strategies, concepts, and tactics in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Strategic Planning and Creative.
• Manage the implementation of key client projects and oversee the execution of approved programs.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Drug and Value retailer client contacts.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and communication regarding project status to client teams.
• Directly manage and mentor team Managers and Account Executives.
• Measure post-promotion results using agency and client-provided data to drive strategic improvements.
• Identify retailer direct and manufacturer platforms to optimize marketing extensions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in retail marketing, specifically with Drug and/or Value retailers.
• Proven experience in project management and leading/developing others.
• Strong strategic thinking skills regarding Shopper Marketing programs.
• Ability to analyze consumer insights and program results to drive sound strategic plans.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing partnership relationships with other manufacturers or properties.
• Ability to serve as an escalation point and problem solver for junior team members.
