Senior Manager Requirements & Capabilities

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to the UAE Air Force and Ministry of Defense
• Build strong customer relationships to align UAE Air Force operational needs with Raytheon capabilities
• Lead engagement with the UAE Air Force, U.S. Embassy, and internal Strategic Business Units (SBUs)
• Develop and support marketing strategies, engagement plans, and regional growth opportunities
• Coordinate across SBUs and functional teams to deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer issues to ensure timely resolution
• Drive enterprise-wide collaboration to enhance performance, execution, and pipeline growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant functional discipline (business or engineering) or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Defense Sales Business Development (or 7 years with an Advanced Degree)
• Deep understanding of the regional defense industrial base, geopolitical environment, and local cultural norms
• Working knowledge of international business compliance, including FCPA and ITAR
• Familiarity with international contracts such as FMS and DCS, as well as host country regulations
• Fluency in Arabic with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to leverage market insights to identify growth opportunities in the UAE

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad understanding of Raytheon Technologies’ product portfolio, technologies, and services
• Direct existing relationships with senior UAE military leaders, U.S. Embassy teams, or regional industry executives
• Experience with IPDS, ERPM, and NBI processes
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning and program management within a geographically dispersed environment
