Senior Manager, Regulatory Reporting and Technical Accounting

Responsibilities

• Champion the implementation of AI-driven tools to automate manual accounting flows
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Data Analytics to ensure regulatory report accuracy
• Oversee international team members and drive strategic expansion of regulatory oversight
• Drive interactions with external auditors for regulatory and financial audits
• Act as finance lead in meetings with Regulators and respond to inquiries
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses
• Review month-end-close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Lead technical accounting analysis and evaluate new accounting pronouncements
• Investigate and resolve anomalies in customer funds reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant analytical field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Fintech or a regulated financial institution
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with massive datasets
• Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity regulatory frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Public Accounting and/or Internal Audit experience
• Experience with data visualization and AI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Claude, or Gemini
