Senior Manager, Regulatory Relations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interactions with U.S. regulators, including providing oversight for regulatory examinations and continuous monitoring.
• Act as a central contact for regulators and manage events related to the scope and timing of reviews.
• Collaborate with Business and Control Function Heads to provide guidance on regulatory matters and support their interactions.
• Develop presentations for senior management and draft formal regulatory responses in coordination with key stakeholders.
• Provide oversight, monitoring, and tracking of remediation commitments made to regulators.
• Oversee centralized issue management systems and ensure timely submission of all required regulatory reporting.
• Identify and escalate risks arising from regulatory interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's, MBA, or JD is a plus).
• At least seven years of experience in financial services, consulting, or at a regulatory agency (e.g., FRB, FINRA).
• In-depth understanding of financial markets, products, and control functions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently with both regulatory staff and senior bank personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a consulting role.
